The Vilnius bar guide (Part I)

You might get tired of going to +++ and Salento all the time but finding good bars and restaurants in a new city can be pretty difficult. Who wants test one place after another to get disappointed. Lucky you! We do the job. In the following section we going to share our experience about bars and restaurants. Maybe you learn something new to make your nightlife more enjoyable. Feel free to comment and share your experience.

Yucatan

On the corner of Islandijos gatve and Pylimo gatve you can find this Mexican themed bar. The place offers lots of different cocktails and brews and Mexican food and snacks. The real deal however is the assemblage of different music styles. You can find a techno DJ on one day only to come across a bass solo at your next visit. The variety is endless. Make sure to check the back room. Follow the dark, red lighted corridor to find the room. Check them out on Facebook to keep track on the events. https://www.facebook.com/Yucatanmexicanbar/
Located right next to the train station you can find this awesome bar. Just look for the big statute of a guy in purple shorts. No way you miss that. This bar has two stages for Djs to get the crowd hyped. The place has a really comfy, living room vibe. Also you can watch the trains departure and arrive because it is literally right next to the train tracks. The program offers house and electro as well as techno and hip hop. Follow them on Facebook to learn more. https://www.facebook.com/peronasbaras/

Cafe Cait Blu

Around 4 minutes from the old university right next to the Saint Parasceve church you can find this cozy place. If you are in the mood to enjoy a coffee and have a nice chat with your friend that is the place to go. The special clue: They offer good quality Hookah for a affordable price. It's my favorite place for relaxed Sundays. So smoke, chat and have a nice time. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/caitblu.lt/

Vejai

In Vilniaus gatve, where lots of bars a located you can find this small place. You might didn't even recognized it till now. It is a lovely bar offering local brews. From time to time bands perform in the hallway. It is definitively worth to sneak a peak. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/vilniaus22/
