To go there the obvious choice is to go by plane. You can get a Ryan Air ticket for about 10 Euros if you are lucky. Finding a place to stay can be quite expensive. A night in a hostel will cost you about 25 Euros.

After you found your way there it's time to explore the city and there is quite a lot to see. If you are interested in history you should visit the museum of viking ships. It displays good preserved ships from old times. When you visit the museum you get a discount for the Historical Museum. It exhibits medieval silver treasures, mummies and much more.

Enough of museums? Lets see the city! The Aker Brygge is a popular area located at the inner harbor. It offers restaurants and shopping. Make sure to bring some money because it can get pricey. Just looking is fine too. Sit there and maybe enjoy the last sunbeams. Furthermore you should visit the Barcode. This place consists of twelve buildings of different sizes and shapes. So if you like modern architecture get your camera ready for some snapshots.

From modern to medieval architecture! Next on the list we have the Akershus Fortress. It was build in the 13th century. Entrance is free! Enough seen it is time to listen. The Popsenteret gives you the opportunity to explore Norwegian pop music from its roots to the present.

After all this sightseeing you are probably hungry. If you reserved enough of your budget it is time to grab some food. Mathallen is your destination. The food hall offers everything! Literally everything! Portuguese cakes and wine, Asian street food, French baked goods and on and on.

Now that you know everything there is needed it's your turn. Pack your suitcase and go to Norway!
